New Campaign Chair for 2011-2012

Jane Foster, Branch Manager for U.S. Bank and board member was recently named Greater Gallatin United Way’s 2011 Annual Campaign Chair.  Jane will head United Way campaigns running in Gallatin, Madison, Meagher and Park counties.

 

Jane grew up in Billings and has been involved with the United Way here and in Billings for many years.  A strong supporter of the community, Jane exemplifies the “LIVE UNITED” theme, according to Carol Townsend, CEO of Greater Gallatin United Way.


“Jane will be an incredible asset to the campaign this year,” said Sylvia Drain, United Way’s Board Chair.  “She comes with a strong passion for her community and a history of giving back.  We are excited Jane is this year’s campaign chair. It is a volunteer position with a lot of responsibility. She is willing to dedicate her time and enthusiasm, which is priceless.”


Foster said her primary reason for taking on the role is to invest in a wonderful community and help support friends and neighbors struggling with financial, educational or health issues.
 

Greater Gallatin United Way’s role is to connect diverse groups of individuals and institutions, and mobilize resources, to deliver positive community impact and create long-term change.  These strategies are not only limited to funding programs.
