Together, we are making a difference for individuals and working families in the Greater Gallatin area through, basic needs, early learning, and youth success -all supported on the foundation of mental health & well-being.

2023-24 Community Impact Partners

Greater Gallatin United Way invests its Community Impact dollars to address the most pressing issues of our area – mental health and well-being, youth success, early learning, and basic needs, all providing a safety net for working families. GGUW unites neighbors, teams of nonprofits and local businesses to establish collaborative, long-term solutions that strengthen the fabric of our community for generations to come. ​

Mental Health & Well-being

We invest in programs that provide affordable mental health counseling and support, along with programs to increase health, hope, and belonging.

The Montana Mindfulness Project brings mindfulness programs into schools and communities, providing students with tools that foster focused attention, emotional regulation and resilience for a lifetime. 

Bridgercare provides excellent, affordable reproductive and sexual healthcare and education in a safe, supportive, empowering atmosphere.

Haven works to empower survivors, elevate their voices, strengthen our community, hold abusers accountable, and stop the cycle of abuse

Wellness In Action is dedicated to community wellbeing by connecting individuals to network of resources so that those who live and work here may thrive. 

Suffer Out Loud was created to save lives. We serve communities all across Montana by connecting individuals to much-needed support and reducing the stigma of mental health issues.

Befrienders connects community volunteers to older adults for companionship, support and advocacy. 

Community Health Partners’ mission is to enhance community health and well-being.

 

Help Center New Logo

Help Center, Inc. provides crisis counseling, advocacy, information, outreach, support, and services to clientele in a safe, confidential environment.

Montana 2-1-1 helps connect Montanans with resources and assistance from state and local health and human service programs.

Greater Impact empowers our community to help neighbors reach their full potential.

BASIC NEEDS

We invest in programs that support families and individuals to meet their basic needs and get back on their feet after facing a crisis or natural disaster.

Early Learning

We invest in preschool education programs that build literacy skills in children and create a love of learning and language.

Child Care Connections supports families and the local economy by encouraging quality childcare and safe.

Bozeman-Reads-Logo

Bozeman Reads offers several services all focused on building foundational literacy skills: family dinners, preschool partnerships, home visits and a preschool literacy camp.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting free books monthly to children from birth to age five.

Thrive’s mission is for all children to have the opportunity to grow, succeed, and become valuable members of our community. 

In support of Bozeman School District #7, Bozeman Schools Foundation supplements the traditional educational experience by providing additional resources to inspire, enrich, and reward the educational ambition of district students and educators.

CASA/GAL of Gallatin County provides well-trained, effective volunteer CASA/Guardians ad Litem advocates for abused and neglected children in the 18th Judicial Court System.

 GGUW’s kidsLINK Out-of-School Initiative partners with local schools, nonprofits, and youth programs to provide fun, safe, affordable afterschool programs for families. Partners include: Arrowhead School – Pray, West Yellowstone, Three Forks, Anderson School, Livingston – Links for Learning, Monforton, Stevens’ Youth Center – White Sulphur Springs, Manhattan School, LaMotte School District, Bozeman, Belgrade, and Big Sky School Districts.
