Program coordinators and staff from 25 kidsLINK Afterschool sites will meet on Saturday, March 29th. Participants will learn about the research of Carol Dweck and growth mindset (see video below) or visit her website.
Linda Clarke will present on the impact of sleep and sugar on brain development (see vide below).
kidsLINK Afterschool Program Coordinators will share successes and challenges of afterschool programming with members of the Greater Gallatin United Way’s Community Investment committee. Community Investment is a grant application process which tilizes board members and community volunteers to determine where to invest the money raised from GGUW's annual campaign. Typically, these dollars support over 60 local programs, including GGUW kidsLINK Afterschool and our funded partners programs.
