2013 Belgrade Fall Festival - FALLing in love with books!

Greater Gallatin United Way took part in Belgrade's 2013 Fall Festival this past weekend.  We entered a float themed, "FALLing in love with books" in honor or our kidsLINK Afterschool Program and the expansion in Belgrade.

Thanks to First Interstate Bank's One Book At A Time and Barnes & Noble's Holiday book drives, we were able to distribute books to children lined up along the parade route.

Our goal is to help ensure every child has a book to read at home because ALL children should have the opportunity to succeed. Together, we can help ALL our children graduate from high school ready for college or career.

This past year, we were fortunate enough to receive over 1,400 donated books.  We distribute the books to families during community events, through our partner organization's who provide home visiting, day care provider training, and other child and family programs, as well as our kidsLINK Afterschool programs. Books are also given to families at community events throughout the year.

There is always a need for quality books for all ages.

If you or your business would like to donate books, please contact Greater Gallatin United Way, 406.587.2194 or email.

Thank you also to Billion Auto Group for providing a beautiful truck and a driver for the parade!
