Community Conversation No. 3
When: Thursday, May 24, 2018 – 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Best Western Plus GranTree Inn – 1325 N 7th Ave, Bozeman, MT 59715
We welcome and invite you to join us on Thursday, May 24th for a community conversation about Behavioral Health at the Best Western Grantree. This event will engage a broad cross-sector of community members in understanding the challenges and opportunities of behavioral health (mental health and substance abuse disorders) and harnessing hope regarding what’s possible for our community moving forward.
On October 10, 2017, community members launched a collaborative, solutions-focused effort to improve the behavioral health system of support in our community. Over the past five months, work groups have explored the challenges, as well as solutions. This work will continue and requires old and new partners to advance and deliver positive change in our communities.
We invite and welcome you to learn more about the work that's been done and where we are headed. Please join this session on May 24th which is meant to comprehensively serve as an introductory conversation for newly engaged individuals, expand the conversation with experienced professionals, and further substantive work that is being achieved in our work groups.
We will share and celebrate accomplishments achieved through the Elevating Behavioral Health Community Collaborative’s efforts and seek your input to drive further progress. We want your thoughts on important topics of mental health and well-being, substance use, access to services, support for youth, reducing stigma, and how to promote increased mental wellness through education and public awareness.
