Eventbrite - Renew! Workshop - Building resilience in the workplace

The Resilience Project is a well-being initiative of Greater Gallatin United Way. The Resilience Project is just one strategy GGUW utilizes to help build a healthier and more resilient community.

STRESS. We all experience it. Big or small, short-lived or ongoing, localized or global…

The negative impact of stress on our physical, psychological, mental, and emotional lives is well-documented. We can experience fatigue, headaches, stomach issues, heart problems, insomnia, irritability, anxiety, depression and often despair.

These negative effects ripple through our work lives and organizations are impacted by employee burnout, negativity, decreased morale, lessened productivity, and increased turnover.

There is hope! The Renew! Workshop will support and empower you to identify difficulties, re-claim your purpose and power, learn and apply life–enhancing skills, and develop an action plan for moving forward.

The Renew! Workshop Objectives

  • Understand the neuroscience of the stress response.
  • Experience the six Resilience Experience Domains
  • Identify micro-tasks for building resilience.
  • Create an individualized action plan to build resilience.
  • Leave feeling renewed!
