Carol is a native of Bozeman and part of a pioneer family who homesteaded near the Buffalo Jump in 1863.  She first volunteered with Greater Gallatin United Way in 1988 as a member of the Board of Directors, raising and then distributing funds.  She served as Board Chair in 1992-3 when she resigned to become Program Director for HRDC/Galavan.  October 1996, Carol was hired as President and CEO of Greater Gallatin United Way.
