Slumberland Furniture Helps Make “Homes for the Holidays” for Area Families with Donation of Beds this December.
Greater Gallatin United Way is proud to partner with Slumberland to provide children's beds to families in need.
ALL BEDS DONATED! THANK YOU AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Since 1993, Slumberland Furniture has been working to provide families with new beds during the holiday season through their annual Making Homes for Holidays program. With the help of several charity and industry partners, Slumberland has donated more than 20,000 new mattresses and box springs to families. This year, Slumberland of Bozeman has 40 beds to donate to families.
Slumberland Furniture is donating approximately 40 mattress and box spring sets to families in need through its annual Making Homes for the Holidays program. Beds will be available for pickup from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17th at Slumberland of Bozeman, 8440 Huffine Lane. We will have limited ability to deliver beds. Uhaul of Bozeman donated a truck for several deliveries.
Getting a restful night’s sleep is one of the foundational blocks for a healthy lifestyle and a critical component in the growth and development of children. Sleep affects day-to-day functions and not getting enough can hinder a child’s optimal alertness. Children ages 5 to 12 need approximately 10 to 11 hours of sleep each night to perform and function to their full potential. Children need sleep so that they can:
- Pay better attention and concentrate in school.
- Fight sickness and stay healthy.
- Maintain a good mood/behavior.
- Remember things they have learned
- Develop and grow properly.
If Requesting more than 1 bed, please call (406) 587-2194 and ask for Karen. Beds must be claimed on December 17th, between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Slumberland Furniture 8440 Huffine Lane, Bozeman. If you are unable to transport the bed, please indicate that below and arrangements will be made to assist in delivery. Bed components include: mattress, box spring and frame.
