Greater Gallatin United Way is committed to handling its fiduciary responsibilities in a prudent manner and with due diligence. Our policies and procedures employ best business practices, provide internal controls, and ensure transparency and public trust. The organization conforms to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and uses the accrual method of accounting. The board and finance committee annually formulate financial policies, review financial statements quarterly, and delegate administration of financial policies and operations to the President.
