Our mission is “To improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our communities.”

As your United Way, we work for you -- listening, compiling data, leading community conversations, motivating and inspiring volunteers, organizing collaborative efforts, and pursuing resources and partners to implement strategies that deliver measurable results -- positive community impact and long-term change. These strategies are not limited to only funding programs.

We recognize that no single organization can do it alone.  Community impact requires focus, collaboration and innovation. 

Our initiatives fall under three community goals:

• Education:  Keeping kids on track to achieve their full potential.
• Health:  Increasing knowledge, resources, access, and opportunities to be healthy.
• Income:  Fulfilling basic needs, stabilizing people in crisis and building self-sufficiency.

Underneath everything we are, underneath everything we do, we are all people.  Connected, Interdependent, United.  And when we reach out a hand to one, we influence the condition of all.
